Pearl Jam have booted Miley Cyrus off the Billboard 200 throne with 'Lightning Bolt' shipping 166,000 units in its first week.


Their fifth no. 1 US album, this actually marks the smallest debut frame ever for Pearl Jam, but was still enough to topple Miley Cyrus' 'Bangerz', which sold 72,000 copies.

This makes the biggest debut figure from the rock genre since last November. Their previous album from 2009, 'Backspacer', opened with 189,000 units sold.
