Cult indie rock group Neutral Milk Hotel have announced they'll tour Australia come November.

Playing a handful of headline dates in lieu of their appearance at the cancelled Harvest Festival, they'll be joined by fellow Harvest names on all dates - Oregon troubadour M. Ward and alternative pop/rock quartet Superchunk.

It'll be the first time Australian audiences get a chance to see the band, who released seminal album 'In the Aeroplane Over the Sea' back in 1998.
