After almost two decades, Primus are back together with drummer Tim "Herb" Alexander and looking forward to writing a new album.

The band's last album with Herb was 'Tales from the Punchbowl' back in 1995, but as frontman Les Claypool told Rolling Stone: "a series of events has made the ever-elusive Viking known as Tim 'Herb' Alexander come out of the forest, and he's going to start beating drums again for us - starting next week. He continued, "We're talking about going into the studio in November. But it's all a little premature - we'll see what happens next week.
