Homegrown legends Miles Away have announced they'll be releasing a new album come 2014.

An update from the band has confirmed that the Perth-bred outfit have booked in recording time for February with Defeater's Jay Maas at his Massachusetts studio.

Check out an update from the band below.

"It’s been a while since our last update so we figured we better fill you in on all the good news. Firstly, a big congrats to our main man Nick who proposed this month to who is now his fiancé. As his band-mates and his dear friends, we couldn’t be happier for the guy!

In other news, despite Adam living overseas we’ve been writing pretty hard since the “Make it a Decade” tour back in December ’12, and you’ll be happy to know that we’re booked in to record a new full length album. Recording begins in February with the mastermind Jay Maas at the Getaway Group in Massachusetts. The record will be released mid 2014 but you will here more about it as the date approaches.

Finally, to all of those that we promised new merch to, we’ve now got a whole new collection available on our Australian, European and American webstores. Follow the link below to our website to find the merch store for your region www.milesawayhc.com

The band's last studio album was 2010's 'Endless Roads'.
