New Empire announce new bassist

Sydney pop rock outfit New Empire have revealed via their instagram account that their current touring bassist, Nate Cairns will be stepping up as an official member of the band. The announcement comes in the form of a promotional photo from a shoot for the band's upcoming album, which can be seen below. Cairns fills the spot left by the band's original lead guitarist Peter Gillies stepping down at the beginning of 2013, and previous bassist Kyle Lane taking his place as lead guitarist for the quartet.

New Empire will release their next album, 'In A Breath' in September, with dates for an October tour and details regarding a new single for the album to be released over the coming days/weeks.
