Arctic Monkeys have announced they will release fifth studio album, entitled 'AM', on September 6 though Domino Records.

The album, which follows 2011's 'Suck It and See', was produced by James Ford and Ross Orton at Sage & Sound Recording in Los Angeles and Rancho De La Luna, Joshua Tree. Ford is a longtime collaborator with the group, producing/co-producing every studio album they've released since 2007's 'Favourite Worst Nightmare'. The album was engineered by Ian Shea and mixed by Tchad Blake

The record features a showcase of guests, with Josh Home, Pete Thomas and Bill Ryder-Jones all making appearances. Track "I Wanna Be Yours" also features the words of English performance poet John Cooper Clarke

The announcement comes following the debut of the band's first single from the album, "Do I Wanna Know?".
