Perth prog-rockers Karnivool have announced they've finished third album 'Asymmetry', announcing a national tour and releasing first single 'We Are' online.

It's the band's first record in four years, following 2009's 'Sound Awake'. Due for release July 19 through Cymatic Records/Sony, the band recorded the album with Nick DiDia in Byron Bay. Speaking on triple j recently, frontman Ian Kenny says of the record "Asymmetry really harks to what we try to do musically as a band. Light and dark. Exploration. Sometimes we go too far and we get lost, so we backtrack a bit and find exactly what we're looking for."

The Western Australian quintet will head out on a national tour this July and August to celebrate the new album, with national support coming from Sydney metalcore outfit Northlane. Tour dates can be found below, along with the video for 'We Are'. Tickets go on sale June 20.
