Yellowcard announce 'Ocean Avenue' acoustic tour

Pop-punk mainstays Yellowcard have announced an Australian tour for this October, where they will perform their hit 2003 album 'Ocean Avenue' acoustically.

The band will play four dates, performing in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. The tour comes following the announcement the band will be releasing an acoustic version of 'Ocean Avenue' August 16 through UNFD Recrods in Australia.

Speaking about the album and its acoustic re-release, the band said this: 

"On July 22, 2003 our lives were changed forever. We didn’t know what Ocean Avenue would become, but it is a chapter in our story that we will never forget ... We knew that for the 10th anniversary of the release we wanted to do something more than just a tour".

Tickets for the tour go on sale June 13. Support for all dates come from local singer-songwriter Toy Boats.
