Far, Rival Schools members announce new project

Jonah Matranga of Far and Ian Love of Rival Schools have announced a new project together, named I Is Another.

The band, who describe their sound as "distinct gritty shades of Zeppelin, Sabbath, and Cocteau Twins with the vocal intensity of Sunny Day Real Estate and Braid", will release their self-titled debut June 24 via Sound the Siren. The first single from the record, entitled "Queen of Hearts", will be released May 8.
