Marilyn Manson, who has a history for theatrics and live shenanigans, has shocked a Canadian audience in Saskatoon by collapsing midway through performing his 1996 hit ‘The Beautiful People’.

The 44-year-old goth rocker slumped to the ground while his band continued to play. Assuming it was all part of the show, members of the audience cheer him on before it becomes apparent something is wrong when stagehands rush to assist Manson off stage.

TMZ reports there’s no serious cause for concern over Manson’s health and that he’d been “feeling like crap all day long (from various flu symptoms) ... but didn't wanna call off his concert in Canada”. Manson was not admitted to hospital but rather taken to his hotel room to rest instead.
