Soundwave timetables released for Sydney and Brisbane

Soundwave organisers have posted the timetables for the Brisbane and Sydney festival dates.

With the 2013 lineup boasting 72 bands spread across nine stages, we all knew there would be some shocking timetable clashes revealed in the lead up to show day. We can now confirm one of the biggest dilemmas for punters going to Sydney and Brisbane will be having to pick between seeing Metallica (7:45 – 10:00) and Blink 182 (7:45 – 9:00) and/or The Offspring (9:00 – 10:00).

Interestingly, there’s also an unnamed “special guest” performing from 2:20 – 3:00 on stage 3 at both Sydney and Brisbane festivals. Little is known about this mystery act, though there’s online speculation it could be anyone from Megadeth (completing the Big Four of trash) to Fall Out Boy. However, with Blood On the Dancefloor pulling out of the festival recently, there’s also the possibility it’s a spot reserved for a local replacement act.

We’re tipping timetables for Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth won’t be too far away. In the meantime, check out the Sydney and Brisbane timetables below.

Swap Blink and Linkin Park. It is so simple and yet it would alleviate 90 percent of peoples problems with clashes.

I can’t believe the organisers could get that so wrong.

Why the fuck would you swap linkin park and blink you dunce?
blink stay on the ‘punk’ themed stage and linkin on the ‘metal’ type stage.

i know what type you are murf.

So by your theory are The Blackout metal? or Tomahawk? seeing they’re on the ‘metal’ stage and all. With so many big name bands with big egos at the top of the bill its impossible to get them to go on middle of the day.
Logistically would be interesting how they can cope with the masses Blink attract (Myer music bowl sold out etc) seeing they will be on a smaller stage you would pressume. Promoter has said they wont clash with Metallica in rest of the dates.

No they aren’t metal but they’re suited to that stage and blink are suited to the stage they’re on.
To change it to blink on the metallica stage would be legit retarded.

Would suit those boring music types that think they like music but base themselves around triple m. Like murf.
