Soundwave organisers have posted the timetables for the Brisbane and Sydney festival dates. With the 2013 lineup boasting 72 bands spread across nine stages, we all knew there would be some shocking timetable clashes revealed in the lead up to show day. We can now confirm that one of the biggest dilemmas for punters going to Sydney and Brisbane will be having to pick between seeing Metallica (7:45 – 10:00) and Blink 182 (7:45 – 9:00) or the Offspring (9:00 – 10:00). Interestingly, there’s also an unnamed “special guest” performing from 2:20 – 3:00 on stage 3 at both Sydney and Brisbane festivals. Little is known as to who this might be, though there’s online speculation it could be anyone from Megadeth (completing the Big Four of trash) to Fall Out Boy. However, with Blood On the Dancefloor pulling out of the festival just last week, there’s also the possibility it’s a spot reserved for a local replacement act. We can now confirm one of the biggest dilemmas for punters going to Sydney and Brisbane will be having to pick between seeing Metallica (7:45 – 10:00) and Blink 182 (7:45 – 9:00) and/or The Offspring (9:00 – 10:00).

Little is known about this mystery act, though there’s online speculation it could be anyone from Megadeth (completing the Big Four of trash) to Fall Out Boy. However, with Blood On the Dancefloor pulling out of the festival recently, there’s also the possibility it’s a spot reserved for a local replacement act.

We’re tipping timetables for Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth won’t be too far away. In the meantime, check out the Sydney and Brisbane timetables below.
