Lostprophets frontman denied bail, remains behind bars in Wales

Ian Watkins of Lostprophets has been denied bail in Wales Crown Court this week, and will remain in custody until the next court hearing later this month

After his arrest in December over the allegations of child sex offences, Lostprophets singer, Ian Watkins, has made another court appearance via video link in Wales this week.


The 35 year old Welshman was denied bail, after his plea was turned down by Judge Eleri Reese. He has been charged with two counts of conspiring to sexually engage with minors and another four offences relating to possessing and distributing indecent images of minors.

Watkins has another court date scheduled for later this month, where he will have another chance to present his plea.


Lostprophets have remained quiet on the subject, with no further posts on their facebook, twitter or official website since Watkins' arrest.
