How To Destroy Angels - the side project of Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor, his wife Mariqueen Maandig and collaborators Rob Sheridan and Atticus Ross - have announced they will release their debut album, Welcome Oblivion, on March 5.

The band announced the release date on Facebook earlier today, remaining tight-lipped about any other details relating to the album.

Some songs from the band’s recent EP An Omen are expected to appear on Welcome Oblivion. If their latest EP is anything to go by, then fans are in for a treat with Killyourstereo.com’s Luke_C declaring An Omen mixes “sounds and styles that Reznor fans will know and love while also pushing the musical boundaries of the group even further once again”.
