Relentless announce album launch tour

In support of the release of their sophomore album Turn The Curse on January 25th, Sydney hardcore mainstays Relentless will hit the road to play a bunch of new songs and show why they are one of the most respected bands in the country. Channelling their aggression, Relentless enlisted the help of Nick Jett, the man behind the desk for some of hardcore’s biggest names in the past few years. Turn The Curse is a step up for Relentless, their raw, live intensity captured digitally on their most exciting release yet. The album will be released internationally on labels such as 6131 (USA), Reality Records (Europe) and locally on Dogfight Records.

Relentless will take to the roads of the East Coast in Jan/Feb 2013 to launch the album before heading overseas in 2013 which will see them tackle every corner of the globe including the USA, Asia, Europe and South America. In what will be the biggest year since their 2006 formation, Relentless are sure to make an impact and be the name on everyone’s lips in 2013.

The “Turn The Curse” tour is a celebration of Australian hardcore, coming along for the tour will be two of the brightest new bands in the scene, The Weight and Thorns. The Weight from Adelaide recently released their debut album “Prisoners Of The Flock” (Clarity Records) to rave reviews, establishing themselves as a new voice in Australia, their thrash/metal hybrid take on NYHC brutality refocusing many eyes on the long quiet Adelaide scene. Thorns have had a busy 12 months, releasing their debut self-titled EP (Broken Hive Records) mid-year and backing it up with headlining shows in Melbourne as well as supports with the likes of Backtrack, Xibalba, Hitlist and Antagonist AD. Their mosh infused hardcore has set pits off in Melbourne, now they look to take it nationally.

Relentless, The Weight and Thorns will take to the road in January/February 2013 for a tour that promises to be one of the best Australian package tours of the year. Come out to a show and see the talent we have in our own backyard.
