Young Statues have announced they will release a covers EP titled The Covers EP on December 4 through Run For Cover Records.

"For me, doing cover songs was a fun and welcomed challenge," says vocalist Carmen Cirignano. "It was a way to tap into artists and styles that really influence us, and learn about what made this music stand out. These songs were covered in particular because they are simply a few of my favorite songs."

The band have also released their version of Billy Bragg's 'A New England', which features guest vocals by Brianna Collins of Tigers Jaw.

Cirignano says, "Billy Bragg has written some of my favorite songs, and I've always wanted to try something of his. When I heard the duet version of 'A New England' with Kirsty MacColl, I thought it would be really fun to do a version of that. Brianna was the first person that came to mind, I really think she has a great and unique voice, and have always been a fan of her band."
