Green Day release 'The Forgotten' video for Twilight soundtrack

Green Day have debuted a new video for their song ‘The Forgotten’, which will appear on the Twilight: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 soundtrack.

The track is taken from their upcoming album ¡Tre!, which, as recently announced, is now due out on December 11 instead of its original January 2013 release date.

The video features footage from Breaking Dawn - Part 2, and marks the band's first contribution to a Twilight soundtrack.

"When we were asked to be part of the Twilight: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 soundtrack, we readily agreed because the films are an insane cultural phenomenon," bassist Mike Dirnt says. "We have always been impressed with the way the Twilight soundtracks are so carefully curated."
