The Swellers are currently reaching the tail end of their Australian tour with Sydney's Endless Heights, and the band's drummer Jonathan Diener was kind enough to take the time to write us up another exclusive tour blog to let us know what the band has been up to the past few days. The tour hits Newcastle tonight, and then will be finished off by two shows in Brisbane. Stay tuned for one final tour blog from Jonathan. "Welcome to another installment of the most exciting thing you'll ever read right now! My name is Jonathan aka Jono and I'm going to fill you in on the adventures of The Swellers aka the Swell Guys. The saga continues when we pulled up to The Basement in Canberra. We got some delicious curry around the corner then I finished reading Nine Stories by J.D. Salinger and it was amazing. Nick and I really wanted to kick things up a notch and went on a walk to find wifi. I'm sorry if this is too intense for some of you to read. We carry ourselves just like Guns n Roses. The show ended up being fun, we talked to a drunk lady who was mad we did a line check because, "the PA worked you should've jus started." So that was Canberra.

Wollongong ended up being pretty awesome. Lots of great bands, including the first ska band we've played with in forever. We powered through our set and near the end decided to just mess around and talk a lot which is a rare treat for swellers fans. Well, until someone yells, "Just play a fucking song already!" And we instantly go into the final song. After we loaded out I informed Endless Heights that I need a girlfriend and to bring them for me at the Sydney show. Spoiler alert: they didn't and I'm still alone.

Sydney was an amazing day. We got to meet up with the amazing people of Sea Shepherd on the ship Bob Barker! They gave us a tour of everything, told us stories from the show Whale Wars they're on, and fed us delicious vegan cookies and ice coffee smoothies. Yup, I was in heaven and wanted to marry everyone on the ship rather than just go steady. These people risk their lives to fight to not only save animals but the environment. Google Sea Shepherd when you can and do some research!

After we were exploring the cliffs of Bondi Beach and scoping out some beautiful people. Can't get over how perfect that place is. Anto, Chucky (our TM) and I went on our own badass adventure path on the rocks. The second we saw some crabs I peaced the fuck out to the venue. Sorry for swearing, mom.

The show ended up being our favorite. Awesome bands, great hangs with Sea Shepherd, and I fell in love with the band Milhouse. People were going nuts during our set and I couldn't stop smiling. We got some falafel with the Sea Shepherd buds then I went to the after party and hung out with Heroes For Hire, watched girls fight, saw dumb lasers, then walked back to the hotel. I'm such a party guy. It's crazy. Behind The Music style shit going on here DOG.

Destroy All Lines is doing an amazing job with this tour and we love that they're letting us play a ton of shows in small clubs for good ticket prices. That's how touring should be and that's the Swellers way.

Our new EP is out now via Shock Records and on www.theswellers.com"
