There’s nothing more entertaining than rock stars going head-to-head in a war of words. They’ve got fame, money, fast cars, a holiday house in the hills – what else is left to do but hang shit on fellow musicians, right?

In the latest mud slinging match, Gwar frontman David Brockie (AKA Oderus Urungus) has come out swinging at Rob Zombie, labelling him “a tired, G-Rated mishmash of other people's styles”.

I have a direct quote from Rob Zombie about Gwar when he was figuring out what he wanted to do with his career,Brockie recently told the Broward Palm Beach New Times. “They asked him, "Hey what do you think of them?" and he said, "The first time I saw GWAR, I thought 'I want to be that, but I want to make money.'" That to me says a lot about Rob Zombie as an artist. It says that he isn't one”.

The ball is clearly now in Rob Zombie’s court.
