Alkaline Trio have begun working on their next full length, entering Blasting Room Studios in Colorado with producer Bill Stevenson (Descendents, Rise Against, Hot Water Music).

Alkaline Trio have begun working on their next full length, entering Blasting Room Studios in Colorado with producer Bill Stevenson (Descendents, Rise Against, Hot Water Music).


The band shared the following message via their Facebook page:

"Today we begin making our next record with Bill Stevenson, a long time hero and friend. We couldn't be more excited."


Frontman Matt Skiba has also said, "If someone would have told 20 years ago that I would be making a record with Bill Stevenson, I simply wouldn't have believed it. Today we start."


The record will be their first album of new material since 2010’s This Addiction.


Alkaline Trio also released Damnesia in 2011, which primarily contains a series of alternate versions of the band’s songs.
