Green Day Angry Birds update

It may seem like a pretty bizarre combination, but the creators of Angry Birds have teamed up with Green Day for a series of levels inspired by the band.

KYS first stumbled across the unlikely combo when Green Day posted the news on their website. Since then, more details have emerged.

Turns out there will be 10 new levels, as well as pig characters inspired by Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool. If that wasn't enough, the game will also feature Green Day's latest single `Oh Love' and `Troublemaker', from their upcoming album ¡Uno!.

"We're all fans of Angry Birds," said Armstrong. "It's such an addictive game that when we first started playing it we couldn't stop. Go Team Green!"

This is the first time Angry Birds creators Rovio have teamed up to create an `episode' with a band.
