According to a Twitter post by Soundwave promoter AJ Maddah, Pennywise have had to postpone their upcoming Australian tour, which was set to kick off on Thursday night on the Gold Coast.

Maddah posted:

"Oh Feck! Pennywise tour dates postponed. Dude's done his back. Can't get on plane. New date tba."

The back injury is of course referring to the band's vocalist Zoli Teglas, who has had a history of back problems, which is what caused him to collapse in Europe earlier this year and forced the band to cancel a number of shows.

Also set to feature on the tour was The Menzingers and Sharks, but it is unclear at this stage whether or not those bands will be on the rescheduled tour, or if we can expect to see them make it here at a different time.
