Four Year Strong have parted ways with Universal Motown/Universal Republic. The Massachusetts-based band signed with Universal Motown in 2009, releasing 'Enemy Of The World' through the major label in 2010. Their follow-up, 2011's 'In Some Way, Shape, Or Form.,' was released via Universal Republic due to label mergers."When the merger between Motown and Republic happened, our album was essentially done," says the band's manager Rob Hitt. "Republic put out the album since it was done and didn't seem like they had much intention other than that, so we were able to get off the label. Nobody is unhappy about this on our side."
