Linkin Park aiming for a winter release

Linkin Park have confirmed that they are hoping to release a new album this winter - or US summer. The record will be a follow-up to 2010’s 'A Thousand Suns'.

In regards to their forthcoming record, Linkin Park had this to say:

"With this album, we’ve incorporated a lot of guitar work with big choruses and the heavier electronic stuff to give it that really big wall of sound feeling without getting too metal.

This will be more familiar to people than ‘A Thousand Suns’ was, where we were like ‘Fuck it, we’re just going to go bonkers."
