Mastodon have announced that they will be releasing two new records for Record Store Day this year, the first being a split with Feist, and the second being a split with The Flaming Lips.

Mastodon have announced that they will be releasing two new records for Record Store Day this year, the first being a split with Feist, and the second being a split with The Flaming Lips.


On the Feist split, the band will be covering her track "A Commotion", and Feist will be covering their track "Black Tongue", taken from their latest album "The Hunter".

For the split with The Flaming Lips, the band will cover "A Spoonful Weighs a Ton", and The Flaming Lips will contribute an original track to their side of the split.
