Deez Nuts announce Australian tour and CD/DVD package

It’s been quiet on the front lately for Australia’s most notorious hardcore band, Deez Nuts. But while they haven’t made noise in Australia since the Destyroy Music Tour last May, they have been conquering the rest of the world. The band have toured the US, Europe and Asia thoroughly, playing with bands like Madball, Parkway Drive, Bring Me The Horizon, H2O and more, performing to tens of thousands of people and making waves everywhere they go.

Now frontman JJ Peters and his rotating gang of members prepare to write and record their third album in the US this Winter, it’s time to reflect on what has been an incredible couple of years for Deez Nuts.

F#*K THE WORLD is the name of this huge digital and physical package, which UNFD will release on March 30, 2012. The main focus of the package is a 40-minute feature documentary that tells the story of the solo-project that became worldwide phenomenon. From recording to live footage, interviews, touring and just straight up debauchery, the film covers every facet of the Deez Nuts experience. As a bonus to the main feature, the DVD also includes a full live set from the Destroy Music Tour, and two music videos. The CD component of the package includes the now out of print “Rep Your Hood” EP and “Stay True” LP.

To celebrate the release, Deez Nuts will take on their first Australian tour in almost a year – taking in all major markets in Australia and appealing to fans of all ages. Along for the ride are two of Sydney’s finest, heavy hitters Phantoms and up and comers The Bride.

This national stint will be the last Deez Nuts shows before they jet off to write and record their long awaited 3rd studio album at the Brick Hit House in Massachusetts, with acclaimed producer Shane Frisby (Bury Your Dead, The Ghost Inside).
