Arctic Monkeys and Gaslight Anthem to play Metallica’s Orion festival

Metallica have revealed that The Arctic Monkeys, The Gaslight Anthem and Best Coast will all be playing at the band’s self-created festival.

The event, referred to as the Orion Music + More festival takes place on June 23 and 24 in New Jersey.

Metallica are to headline both nights and will play their 1991 self-titled album, better known as ‘The Black Album’.

Other bands booked to play include Avenged Sevenfold, Modest Mouse, Cage the Elephant, Fucked Up, Hot Snakes, Titus Andronicus, Gary Clark Jr., Lucero, Roky Erickson, The Black Angels, The Sword and Liturgy.
