Make Do And Mend have announced that Luke Schwartz has now officially joined the band on bass. The band posted the following about the addition: "Make Do And Mend has a new bass guitarist. His name is Luke Schwartz and he is our best friend. He is the best thing to happen to this band in a long time, so please welcome him to the MDAM family with open arms."

The band will be entering the studio in the coming weeks with producer Matt Bayles (A Wilhelm Scream, Polar Bear Club, Mastodon) to record the follow up to their 2010 album "End Measured Mile", and first record to be released by Rise Records.
