Fireworks front man David Mackinder has revealed in a recent Twitter post that the band has started working on new material. Mackinder posted: "Happy to say @wearefireworks have started writing some new jams. Really excited for what has been written so far! Can't wait to share".

The band released their latest album "Gospel" last year through Triple Crown Records, and will be returning to Australia next month as a part of the Soundwave 2012 festival line up, as well as playing sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne with Four Year Strong, I Am The Avalanche and Conditions.
