All Shall Perish to headline Brisbane Festival

Pigapolooza is back in Brisbane with some of the hardest and heaviest bands ready to tear up the Tempo Hotel, with 22 bands blitzing 2 stages for over 11 hours of hard hitting action.

No Agendas and Warrant Promotions have teamed up to bring some of the hottest bands including headline acts American death core giants ALL SHALL PERISH and Brisbane rock outfit NUMBERS RADIO.

When people like Kirk Hammett and Rob Flynn cite your band as favourites, you know you’re onto a good thing. And for Oakland, California’s ALL SHALL PERISH that is precisely the case. With new album This Is Where It Ends newly unleashed on the world, the Californian quintet is set to hit Australia for the second time this November and December.

All Shall Perish headline Pigapolooza for a show that will see the seething masses decimated by the face melting technical metal that marks All Shall Perish as one of deathcore’s leaders.

Typically, punk rock isn’t exactly renowned for its maturity, but NUMBERS RADIO are about as far from typical as you can get. While their songs may possess the kind of energy the punk rock genre is reliant on – and packs it in spades – these guys approach their brand of aggressive music in an altogether different manner. Track back to the mid-noughties and you’d have seen the three members of Numbers Radio flexing very different musical muscles.

The band has let their music and incendiary live performances do the talking. They’ve been added to high rotation on triple j, they’ve played Homebake, they’ve supported everyone from Birds Of Tokyo to The Bronx to You Am I and have recently signed to Shock Records. And now they’re ready to kick things up another gear with new single White Light, the first single from their forth-coming album due in May 2012. The song sees the band at their most mature, melodic and considered, but they’re not straying from those roots which made them what they are.

Wow, really impressed with this lineup! alot of mixing genres but having bands like All Shall Perish and Resist The Thought playing with Numbers Radio and Dollarosa is going to be so good.

I believe they have other shows to be announced but festival announcement gets priority for pre-sale etc. (you should know the drill from every other festival announcement by now)
