Pop punk veterans New Found Glory are planning to bring their successful 'Pop Punk's Not Dead' Tour to Australia in late March next year.

Tweets between Soundwave Touring head honcho AJ Maddah and New Found Glory guitarist Chad Gilbert have revealed that planning for the tour is well under way, cementing longstanding rumours that an Australian version is in the works.

In a reply to Gilbert, Maddah said:

"It'll be the tour that ends the Australian summer! What a way to go! #PopPunksNotDeadTourAustralia I'll email you the itinerary!"

The 'Pop Punk's Not Dead' Tour is currently tearing apart stages across the US, with New Found Glory headlining a bill that includes Set Your Goals, The Wonder Years, Man Overboard and This Time Next Year. When asked if the Australian lineup will be the same, Maddah said he "will try and do all the bands."

Exact dates are yet to be confirmed, but Maddah has said that that the tour will be in the "end of March."
