The Gaslight Anthem sign to Mercury Records

The Gaslight Anthem have signed to Mercury Records which is the current home of Neon Trees, Portishead, Noel Gallagher and more. A spokesperson for Gaslight's former label, SideOneDummy Records confirmed the deal, “We can confirm this. We are super-happy for the dudes in Gaslight and wish them the best!” The band's major-label debut and follow up to 2010's American Slang can be expected next year. Their final SideOneDummy Records release will be an Itune Session. You can get more information on that here.
