Bon Iver returns to Australian shores in March 2012 to celebrate the release of Bon Iver, Bon Iver, their highly-acclaimed, second full-length record, out now via Jagjaguwar / Inertia. Following a sold-out tour back in 2009, the band returns as a 9-piece to give audiences the opportunity to see the show in some of Australia’s most iconic venues; the Sidney Myer Music Bowl, Thebarton Theatre, Sydney Opera House, Red Hill Auditorium, Meredith Supernatural Ampitheatre and Tivoli Theatre. Bon Iver follows lightly in the footsteps of 2008’s ethereal and brooding debut, For Emma, Forever Ago; and if reviews from international shows are anything to go by, the live interpretation is a subtle yet powerful thing, not to be missed.

Crafted over three years, Bon Iver, debuted at No. 2 on the US and Australian charts, No. 4 in the UK, and No. 5 in New Zealand. The release received glowing reviews and solid airplay, including the coveted crown of a Triple J Feature Album. In the US, seminal music site Pitchfork rated the album 9.5 out of 10 and described it as “... flawless right up to its conclusion”.
