Linkin Park working on new studio album

US rockers Linkin Park are reportedly working on a new studio album, with frontman Chester Bennington recently telling Rolling Stone of the progress.

The Californian outfit released fourth studio album 'A Thousand Suns' last year and it appears the group are now pushing forward with a new full-length, hoping to see a release in 2012.

"We’re in the studio and we’re well on our way to making our next record. I can tell you that we have a lot of good music, a lot of quality songs," Bennington told Rolling Stone.
