Stone Sour working on covers EP and live DVD

US hard rockers Stone Sour are reportedly working on a new EP comprised of cover songs chosen by the band, with the group additionally planning to offer it together with a live DVD.

Vocalist Corey Taylor, currently doing the media rounds in support of his new book ('The Seven Deadly Sins: Settling the Argument Between Born Bad And Damaged Good'), spoke to Harddriveradio.com recently about the developments.

"Stone Sour is definitely working on a cover songs EP, where each member will get to pick the song they record.  Then the EP will be packaged with the DVD they filmed last year in England. which they hope to have out by the end of this year," Harddriveradio.com reports.
