Melbourne metallers Ne Obliviscaris are pushing closer to finalising their new album, with the band currently in the process of mixing the aforementioned release.

Melbourne metallers Ne Obliviscaris are pushing closer to finalising their new album, with the band currently in the process of mixing the aforementioned release.


The up and coming local outfit announced back in May that the eagerly awaited studio album was completed and subsequently being sent to Sweden's Fascination Street Studios to be mixed by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Katatonia).

Recently, the group updated fans via their Facebook page on the progress, noting in respective posts:


"Just received initial mixes from JENS BOGREN for a couple of the album tracks! Incredible to be finally hearing these songs come to life after so long."


"Currently writing notes on the mixes for two of the NeO album songs to give to Jens Bogren. Sounding fantastic so far!"


In related news, Ne Obliviscaris are sadly no closer to having guitarist Benjamin Baret's permanent Visa approved.
