Bay Area's Ceremony have announced plans to release a covers EP via Bridge Nine Records on August 9. Appropriatley titled 'Covers,' the six-song release includes covers of songs by Urban Waste, Pixies, Crisis, Wire and more.

Bay Area's Ceremony have announced plans to release a covers EP via Bridge Nine Records on August 9. Appropriatley titled 'Covers,' the six-song release includes covers of songs by Urban Waste, Pixies, Crisis, Wire and more. 

The band has also announced that they have signed to Matador Records. In a statement, Bridge Nine label owner Chris Wrenn says:

"Today is a very bittersweet day, as Ceremony is moving on to Matador. We are sad to see them go, but so excited and proud of the band. Our relationship with Ceremony has been an incredible one over the years and we will continue to stay close with the band. B9 wishes Ceremony the absolute best, and are just as excited as everyone else to hear their next record."
