"Going from an EP to an Album is a big step for any band. So much hard work and effort is put into an album release, which is something fans may not always think about when their favorite band releases a new CD. The band grows and so does each of its members, we go through changes and witness different things in our lives that eventually impacts on our writing. I believe we have matured, especially in the way we approached the writing and recording process this time around. Heartbound stands to be much more personal as a result. It is different to Hope, but it is still Dream On Dreamer. We hope that old and new fans alike will enjoy the new album and can relate to it in some shape or form. We are very proud of this release, and we look forward to getting it out there.

"Working with (producer) Cameron Mizell was amazing. He is so easy to get along with and makes the whole recording process very relaxed and fun. Sometimes bands can get stressed out and frustrated in the studio. For instance, you may have a set time frame or have an image of what the recording will end up like, and not always be entirely happy with the final outcome. We had that image, but Mizell blew it out of the water! We are so excited to show you guys what we have done. Seeing as Mizell had worked with previous bands that we are fans of, we knew he was the right person to get the job done. We have become closer friends, and still remain in touch. "

Mcleod also spoke about the band's tour plans.

"We are currently in the middle of the Speaker Of The Dead Tour with Emmure and our good friends, Shinto Katana. After that we have All Ages Tour 2011 tour with Closure In Moscow, which is a run of a few weekend dates, then in August we will be heading out on our Australian Album Tour. Soon after, we will be gearing up for our first overseas tour in Europe, playing alongside Memphis May Fire and The Color Morale, which we are really stoked to be a part of."
