Michigan based metallers The Black Dahlia Murder have added another string to their musical bow, covering grind masters Carcass' prominent track, 'This Mortal Coil'.
No strangers to cover tracks (having previously recorded a version of the Rolling Stones' classic 'Paint It Black'), The Black Dahlia Murder provided the song for music magazine, Decibel.

In addition, the band were joined by Carcass frontman Jeff Walker on the track itself.
"Detroit deathsters, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, are featured in this month’s installment of the Decibel Magazine Flexi Series. TBDM contributed a cover of Carcass’s classic This Mortal Coil with a guest vocal spot from Carcass frontman Jeff Walker himself!" a press release states.
The Black Dahlia Murder's new studio album, 'Ritual' is due in stores on June 21st via Metal Blade Records.
