Parkway Drive’s ‘Deep Blue’ goes gold

Resist Records is very pleased to announce that Parkway Drive’s third album "Deep Blue" has gone Gold, this being both the bands and Resist‘s first Gold album.

Recorded in Los Angeles, CA by Joe Barresi (Queens Of The Stone Age, Bad Religion, Tool), "Deep Blue" debuted ARIA #2 and #39 in the US Billboard 200, won Best Hard Rock / Punk album at 2010’s Australian Independent Music Awards and was presented the inaugural ARIA for Best Hard Rock / Heavy Metal Album at the 2010 ARIA’s.

Celebrating Resist Records 100th release, Deep Blue was released on June 25, 2010 distributed by Shock Records. "We are just so thrilled for Resist and the boys. Gold records don’t come along every day and there is no band more deserving, Parkway Drive are flat out the hardest working band in the country. Resist is a marquee label for Shock and we congratulate Graham on this remarkable achievement." says Shock‘s GM of Music Leigh Gruppetta.

This week the band returns to Australian soil for the Mix N Mash Tour, these being there only Australian shows for 2011.
