Speaking of the album, frontman and guitarist Alex Turner discussed the musical influences that shaped ‘Suck It And See’, noting David Bowie, Lou Reed, Leonard Cohen and Nick Cave amongst them.

The Arctic Monkeys have previously done a cover of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds track, ‘Red Right Hand’, on their touring set list, so no surprise to hear about the ode to the Aussie lyricist in the new album.

‘Suck It And See’ is due to be released on June 6.
