The Cure will be performing their first three studio albums at the Sydney Opera House for Australian Festival, Vivid Live, naming the gigs: ‘The Cure Reflections’.
The band is set to play the albums ‘Three Imaginary Boys’ (1979), ‘Seventeen Seconds’ (1980) and ‘Faith’ (1981) at the Opera House on May 31 and June 1.

The Cure vocalist, Robert Smith, told NME Magazine how they wanted to do something special to mark their first appearance at the Sydney Opera House: “We want to do something unique to mark the occasion…combining The Cure members past and present in a live filmed interpretation of our first three albums.”
The Vivid Live festival will run from May 27 to June 5 and will be showcasing other bands including Spiritualized and Bat for Lashes.
