The Cure will perform their first three albums at the Sydney Opera House

The Cure will be performing their first three studio albums at the Sydney Opera House for Australian Festival, Vivid Live, naming the gigs: ‘The Cure Reflections’.

The band is set to play the albums ‘Three Imaginary Boys’ (1979), ‘Seventeen Seconds’ (1980) and ‘Faith’ (1981) at the Opera House on May 31 and June 1.

The Cure
vocalist, Robert Smith, told NME Magazine how they wanted to do something special to mark their first appearance at the Sydney Opera House: “We want to do something unique to mark the occasion…combining The Cure members past and present in a live filmed interpretation of our first three albums.”

The Vivid Live festival will run from May 27 to June 5 and will be showcasing other bands including Spiritualized and Bat for Lashes.

What a stupid and utterly pointless comment by x_Dylan. So here’s my reply to you – bugger off bigot you wouldn’t know talent if it fell on your obviously very small head.
On a more positive note I’m looking forward to seeing this brilliant band play live once again.

The iconic band is back. I hope there would be more concerts to come. I’ve just bought some hoodies from and suggested that they include logos of The Cure in their products.
