Rage Against The Machine rumoured for Soundwave Revolution

According to Triple M‘s music reporter Nui Te Koha, Rage Against The Machine and Alice Cooper are "the hot tip to be doing shows across Australia in 2011".Koha recently leaked the news that Coldplay would be headlining the Splendour in the Grass festival, and that they wouldn’t be doing any Australian sideshows.

He has commented that  “There’s a huge rumour doing the circuit that Rage Against The Machine will be here in September for Soundwave Revolution. Alice Cooper together [with Rage Against The Machine] will be headliners for Soundwave Revolution.” In addition, Cooper recently told Blabbermouth that he’s playing festivals in “South America, Australia, Europe, Canada, and all over the States” this year.

Over thirty bands have been announced for the festival so far, including Yellowcard, The Acacia Strain, Whitechapel, Four Year Strong, Unearth, Set Your Goals, Every Time I Die, Funeral For A Friend, Thursday, and many many more. The full line-up, which is expected to feature about 70 acts in total, will be revealed this Thursday April 28.
