Legendary tour documentary '1991: The Year Punk Broke' will finally be released on DVD this year.
It's been 20 years since the doco was first released on VHS. The film followed alternative legends Sonic Youth on the road, as well as another legendary band they brought with them: Nirvana.

The film also features live clips of Dinosaur Jr., Babes in Toyland, Gumball and the Ramones, as well as some candid backstage moments.

The DVD release doesn't yet have a set release date, but is expected out later this year.
