Pennsylvania metalcore outfit Zao have confirmed some details about their upcoming release "The 2nd Era". The release is a repackaging of their albums "Where Blood and Fire Bring Rest" (1998), "Liberate Te Ex Infernis" (1999) and their self-titled record of 2001."Where Blood and Fire Bring Rest" was heralded as one of the "most influential albums of 1998" by Alternative Press magazine. On Facebook the band described the forthcoming release as "...a straight re-issue of Blood and Fire, Liberate, and Self-Titled in a new package with new artwork tying them all together."The band's last album was "Awake?" which was released through Ferret Music in 2009. "The 2nd Era" wil be released on May 17 via Solid State Recordings.
