Devin Townsend Project and Thursday confirmed for Soundwave Revolution

In exciting news for metal fans, Devin Townsend has self confirmed his appearance at Soundwave Revolution via his facebook and twitter account. Devin is simultaneously releasing Deconstruction and Ghost, the final two records of the Devin Townsend Project series on June 20, in time for Revolution which is supposedly kicking off in late September.

Also joining the Revolution ranks are US post-harcore giants Thursday, as announce by Stu Harvey on Short.Fast.Loud last night. The band's new album No Devolución is due out on April 12.

They join Black Veil Brides and We Are The In Crowd who were both announced yesterday, as well as 21 other bands that you can check out here.

Event organiser AJ Maddah has also all but confirmed that Sum 41 will be returning to play the festival after being forced to pull out of certain dates at Soundwave earlier this year.
