We're extremely pleased to announce that Melbourne outfit The Smith Street Band have joined the Poison City family. Fronted by passionate singer/ songwriter Wil Wagner, The Smith Street Band have spent the past year playing their hearts out in pubs, clubs, house parties, storm drains and everywhere in between, forging a reputation as one of Melbourne's most infectious and exciting DIY bands. After a successful national tour alongside Defiance, Ohio (US) in February, The Smith Street Band have spent most of March recording their debut album at The Arthouse Studio with Matt Bodiam (A Death In The Family, H-Block 101) and Michael 'Fitzy' Fitzgerald (The Hawaiian Islands, Kill Whitey). With The Arthouse closing it's doors at the end of April, it's safe to say this will be the last album to be recorded behind it's iconic walls.
