"Finished recording today. Listening to rough mixes. Wow," he posted.

"The spectrum of ideas crammed into the first half of this album is truly astounding. Ushered in by delicate acoustic guitars, Devine gradually gains momentum. The sparse arrangements accompanying his hushed-tones expand to include richer textures, an upbeat mood that melts as the slow–burning title track sees Devine creep into darker territory," Rock Sound wrote about Devine's last release, 'Brother's Blood'.

The current working title for the upcoming album is, 'Between the Concrete and Clouds'.
