Tom Araya's health condition updated

News concerning Slayer frontman Tom Araya's health has been released by his wife Sandra via her Facebook page. Metal giants Slayer were forced to pull out of Sydney's Soundwave festival yesterday due to Araya's unforeseen health complications.

After yesterday’s news about Slayer frontman Tom Araya being hospitalised, there has been a brief update from his wife. Sandra posted on her Facebook,  “SPOKE WITH TOM =) He’s feeling much better! it will be a few days before test results come back… That’s all I can say for now! whoo hoo!”

Soundwave's promoters had originally stated that Tom was suffering from a "severe ear infection", yet his wife writes that “Tom does not have a ear infection! Not sure who came up with this, but it is not true… They are waiting on test results… If [the ear-infection explanation] is coming from the promoter, I am sure he is only saying what he was told!”
