Popular metalcore outfit As I Lay Dying have seemingly found themselves on the wrong side of the law. Reports doing the rounds, state the band was recently served with summons during an in-store signing at Madison, Wisconsin.

Popular metalcore outfit As I Lay Dying have seemingly found themselves on the wrong side of the law.


Reports doing the rounds, state the band was recently served with summons during an in-store signing at Madison, Wisconsin. While full details are still unclear, As I Lay Dying guitarist Phil Sgrosso posted the following update on his Twitter page:

"Nothing like receiving a summons in the middle of a signing. Total dick move!"


In addition, music website Theprp.com alleges that the summons "stems from an incident which took place at one of their performances two years back, where a security guard was allegedly injured while working the groups show."
