Cobra Starship have cancelled their upcoming Australian support tour with Maroon 5 because they have not yet finished making their new record.

The band released the following statement:

"You may or may not have heard but we are not going to make it down under to play with Maroon 5 this May. We really wanted to bring a new record with us when we came but unfortunately we aren’t going to be finished with it by the time the tour starts and we really need to finish making this bad boy. We really want to thank Maroon 5 and everyone in their camp for the amazing opportunity - hopefully we will be able to tour together in the future and we’ll definitely see you guys soon!"
